With Hart, Brandon, QH, Jeff, Charmaine, GY and BSG

Don’t have detailed tasting notes, and referenced this from my Vivino notes:

Tasted against the 2003.

I found myself enjoying the 2001 more: this is not the usual overly big fleshy overriped Cali Cabernet. Tasted blind, this would’ve been insanely hard to differentiated from a classical Bordeaux. It is lean, woody, tobacco leaves, leather, mild oak, blackcurrant and menthol. So much finesse, at a wonderful 13% alcohol.
