In the glass, this was an extremely pale hay with nearly no color. Fine bubbles. There’s a mild richness to the nose, reminding me of brioche bread, but this was not yeasty. Green apple.

On the palate, lively bubbles, crispy liveliness, and mid- acidity.

The nose got me.
