With Hart, Jake, Donald & Luis at Pall Mall.

I was hyped to see this available by the glass: this is a “off vintage” LLC that I had purchased recently, and I was SO curious to see what it tastes like.

In the glass, a dense concentrated ruby with similarly purplish tone. Opaque core.

On the nose: deep dark and rich black currant. Mild oak and vanilla. Surprisingly, I felt like I detected more Merlot than it ought to contain. High concentration.

On the palate: this was actually surprisingly much leaner than I had expected from the nose. Mid+ acidity, still very grippy tannins, and long finish.

Unfortunately, I again only had a coravined half glass, and ended up accidentally gulping it down faster than I had planned. Sigh.

Anyway, this could still do with 5 years or so of again I reckon. LLC are notoriously in need of time.
