With the Ohanas at Zi’s for the annual CNY gathering.
This is one of Hart and my favorite values from duty free, at ~$50.

In the glass, it’s a bright rich gold.
On the nose, this is not a big hit of petroleum. Just a gentle lean note, with stony minerality, lemon zest.
On the palate: this fits my palate super well. In general I enjoy kabinett rieslings, or at least those that are made dry/trocken. This was delicious with hot pot, with its off-dry palate, mid+ acidity that left a juicy finish. On the exhale, it was very aromatic, with notes of honey.
This isn’t a spectacular Riesling by any measure, but in the context of be domestic market, this is a decently good buy, and is sucha enjoyable casual drink. Drink it v cold!
