I have too much wines that I can’t even think of touching for the next 15 to 25 years. It’s stupid. I’ve decided to spend more time looking at those in the 2000- 2015 range.
2006 was supposed to be a challenging vintage. The GPL was allegedly an outperformer.
2008 was supposed to be a v good vintage but not outstanding. This is prolly my sweet spot in terms of pricing and value. Tropolong Mondot’s second wine was the wine we served at Hart and my engagement celebratory dinner and it was DELICIOUS. I can only imagine how good the Grand Vin must be
2009 and 2010 are the legendary vintage of the recent decades. I’ve actually had the Giscours 2010 before and it was absolutely stunning.
