With Hart, Sean, Tabs, Sloke and YZ
Wine was also courtesy of YZ. this was a value wine (I think sub 70?) that she enjoyed, and was eager to let us try.

A surprisingly charming little thing! I saw Lange Rosso and expected this to be some bright little Nebbiolo of sorts. Nope.

In the glass: A darker ruby than what one would expect from a Nebbiolo. Light bodied.

Nose: puuuuure cherries. The thing that confused me was the note of red plums that reminds me of Merlot.

On the palate: mid+ acidity. Mid finish. Just a touch of tannins.

On the exhale: blackberries!! Cabernet???

As it turned out, this was apparently a blend of Nebbiolo, barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. How very fucking odd. First time I’ve ever had this blend! I liked it
