I’ve decided it’s better to just leave wedding wines unrated because it seems rude to be rating someone’s wedding wines.

In the glass: deep, inky, and ultra concentrated dark ruby maroon. Full bodied. Glass-staining.
On the nose: this is pure Napa cab. Pure blackcurrant, mild red plums, and a rich sweet oak. Intensely aromatic. Mint lift. Unmistakably Napa cab.
On the palate: dense, rich and palate coating. Highly concentrated. Noticeable residual sugar, and shockingly well integrated high alcohol. This is very ripe. The most impressive aspect of this wine has to be the tannins. It’s very distinct, but so round and smooth. Wow.
