Another birth year wine for Hart! Sean knew I was always on the lookout for Hart’s birth year wines, and he chanced upon these at the cornerstone warehouse sale. Needless to say, I grabbed it.

Brane-Cantenac hadn’t been a particularly strong producer before the mid 2000s, despite its classification as a GCC 3rd growth. That said, it seemed that there has been a major revival at the winemaker, and the vintages in the last 10-15 years have been very excellent, and reasonably priced.
