Quintessential modern style Cali cab sauv, with very good balance.

In the glass: deep dark almost inky maroon. High concentration with body that stains the glass.

On the nose: this is truly pure Cali cab. Pure blackcurrant, blackberries, balanced use of sweet oak. The only thing I didn’t really get was perhaps the classic eucalyptus / menthol lift

On the palate: this is just rich, round, juicy, palate coating with mid acidity. Notable but fully rounded tannins. A real fleshy boy, and just decadently delicious. Yum. I liked this even more than I did at J&E’s wedding; I suspect it’s because this bottle actually got to spend some time in the decanter!
