Weird, I think I served this too cold, given how unimpressive this was.
In the glass: pale gold. Clear.
On the nose: citrus, an oddly distinct malo + tiny tinge of oak, very mild minerality. Generally shy.
On the palate: a surprising silkiness + juiciness that was palate coating. Mid/mid- finish. Fairly bright acidity that was very nice.
Overall.. this was a delicate wine that reminded me a lot more of a typical burg blanc than a Chablis. Generally very easy to drink, enjoyable, but not exactly what you might be hoping to get outta a grand cru. I do wonder if I served it too cold. Oh well.
