What the heck is this LOL. How can something that smells so interestingly good, be so poor on the palate.

On the nose: what an aroma. Pure blackcurrant with a very fragrant aromatic and lean note of oak and almost coffee bean like. Crushed stones. Like, this was a GOOD nose. I liked that this wasn’t just the typical PUUUREE Napa cab sauv nose.

On the palate: mid acidity, mid body. The biggest flaw with this wine was the finish, which dropped off so abruptly and violently, leaving a hollow taste on the palate. That can’t be right?

What a bloody shame.
