From @thewinemonk, with a mix of personal and shared bottles with YZ.

The 2006 was my introduction to the winemaker, and it impressed the heck out of me. That incredible purity of fruit, freshness, energy and balance.

So I grabbed a couple of the younger (and more affordable) vintages for holding, and shared a couple of the older vintages with YZ (perhaps for a vertical? But would that be too indulgent?)

As a side note, this wine reminded me that I once drank an INCREDIBLE Dolomite wine, and Brandon reminded me it was the Foradori Granato 1997 at Blue Hill. Now THAT, was an incredible wine.

Does… Kenny…. Go into… another rabbit hole…. For another region……..?
