In SF at a JPM reception.

First of all, that event not only had just 1 or 2 remarkable wines, they had an entire lineup of remarkable wines. Too bad I didn’t partake in most of them given my apprehension about being buzzed at work events.

This was the only wine I tried and I am….. unsure?

On the nose: red berries, with a ton of spice and stems, and almost an intense graphite nose?

On the palate: bone dry. Grippy tannins. Felt oddly flat with a seemingly short and bitter finish

Not sure if my palate’s off from the travel and sleep deprivation, or this was just drank far too young.
