With the crew at the fantastic Humble Pit.

A tale of two wines.

In the glass: a bright yellow with slight green tint. Clear.

On the nose: I don’t know how long the wine had been aerating in the bottle. But fresh off the bottle, this was a meek and thoroughly underwhelming wine. Closed, whisper of citrus and green apple. This was despite it being served warmer than ideal. But thankfully as the wine breathed, it became way more aromatic. Citrus, green apple; apricots, and just wet stones. The nose intensified linearly as we finished the bottle, and even as the wine chilled.

On the palate: oh bright and lively acidity. A surprising silkiness to the body. A touch of saline. Mid+ finish

Clean and polished wine. Seems to need a surprising amount of air to show its best though.
