With the wine hoes at dim sum

Another underwhelming wine.

In the glass: bright ruby with mid- body

On the nose: I liked it – damp forest floor, touch barnyard, cherry and raspberry, stem spices, lean oak. Ok this is bright and promising.

On the palate: grippy unresolved tannins. Mid++ acidity. An oddly thin body with mid – concentration. Mid finish that drops off abruptly.

Someone once told me there’s no bad wines in Vosne-Romanee. Well, yes there are.
