With Hart, the Kums et al

In the glass: rich bright gold. Clear.
On the nose: intensely aromatic, sweet yellow fruits. well oaked, reductive. Given my lack of familiarity with the Rhone and white burgs, my immediate thought was this tasted like a Chassagne-Montrachet. Heck, i couldn’t even tell that that it wasn’t just an oaked Chardonnay.
On the palate: oily, silky and rich. Residual sugar, with intensity on the palate. Long finish.
Too oaked and reductive for my palate.
