At YZ’s mega wine thing.

HUH. This was, so good? I didn’t know what this was when I poured the wine, but I guess this is a Bordeaux blend / Super Tuscan.

In this glass: deep dark ruby with a touch of garnet at the rim.

On the nose: so much cab, and this bright aromatic oak lift. Super aromatic, with a deep intensity of fruit. Touch of VA that’s just so typical of Italian reds. Blackcurrants.

On the palate: high intensity of fruit, mid+ finish. Very very well integrated alcohol. Mid+ acidity. Distinct tannins.

What a surprisingly delicious little bugger.
