At the BPS post transaction celebrator dinner

In the glass: rich ruby with a touch of garnet, mid- body

On the nose: a wine that blooms in the glass. A little shy fresh of the bottle, wide intensely aromatic with 15 mins in the glass. Dark berries, dark cherries, touch of oak spices. Very clean, no funk/brett/barnyard. The wine does turn more and more red cherries when exposed to a ton of air over time.

On the palate: mid/mid- body, but still siilky smooth. Bright acidity, mid finish. Very red fruited. Mid intensity.

This was… beautiful?? Just dark and elegant.
