Huh! A surprisingly good second wine?

I didn’t take a whole lot of notes here either, but I remembering remarking to myself that this had a surprising level of intensity and concentration.

I would say, having just come off Cali cab tasting earlier in the afternoon…. French Bordeaux blends just smells and tastes so much better to me.

Even for a second wine, this just has so much more layers of aromatics and complexity than the Napa cabs at much high price points.
