HOLD ON A MINUTE. another pleasant Californian Chardonnay?? What’s happening over here!

In the glass: gold. Clear.

On the nose: a good degree of ripeness, with distinct apples, citrus, and this geeeeentle splash of oak, oak spices, and that classic malo butter. Maybe a tiny touch of flintiness. But this was a very well restrained and reasonable use of oak.

On the palate: a surprising flash of juicy juicy acidity, coupled a silky richness. More ripe fruits. Palate coating. Tiny touch of residual sugar

This was such a pleasurable wine. Clean, with balanced ripeness and oak use. Well done.
