With Hart at Rata
What a tasty little bugger, at a very very enjoyable age.
Wine came from a tiny one-acre block of vines that was planted in 2002 with the Pinot Noir types Abel and 10/5

In the glass: bright ruby, with a flash of orange at the rim. Light bodied.
On the nose: oh my. Such pure dark cherries, with a perfectly melded sweet spiced oak. The sweetness, darkness, and richness of the fruits and oak, couple with a deep funk that’s developed with age. This was delicious. Touch of red plums. I assume this is zero stems. This is a fruit forward wine, with the perfect balance of fruits and age now.
On the palate: soft, lush, silky with a warm glowing acidity. High intensity of fruit. Mid+ finish. Fresh, bright and mid- / light bodied.
This was very delicious
