With Hart at Capella Bangkok.

Fresh off the bottle, this was a muddy barnyard funk with a tinge of red fruit. Light bodied with gentle tannins. I was bummed.

Thankfully, as it turned out, this wine just needed a little time to breathe.

When it did, the red fruits deepened, with a mild tinge of raspberry and cranberry. Earth and oak emerge to balance the wine out.

Mid+ acidity. Generally enjoyable, but only if given the luxury of time
