JCG’s known for his funky natural wines.

In the glass: cloudiness that’s visible as you swirl the glass to form a little shimmery vortex.

In the nose: a mild funk, with just a tinge of honey. Not much else.
On the palate: hiiiighly acidic, with mid juicy finish. Candidly, this could be quite jarring without food, but paired excellent with our courses. Minerality on the exhale.

We sipped this over the course of 3 hours. At some point (lost track) it developed a kinda grapey nose akin to the Hi-Chew grape. Then a distinct flower emerged but I don’t have the vocab for it

This was an example of a wine with abysmal ratings, but was excellent with food.
