The somm recommended this to us, after hearing about our love for funk, and desire for a Pinot. He came swinging with a Czech Pinot, and I was very suspicious. This was delicious and I am shook.

In the glass: a bright ruby with no sign of age whatsoever. Mid- body.
On the nose: a very nice reductive funk that was nowhere close to being overwhelming. Roses and strawberry and just the tiniest touch of wood? Not like oak, just like. Branches.
High acidity, gentle tannins, mid- finish. In spite of the acidity, that juiciness cut off a touch short.
We also sipped this over 3 hours, and the funk almost completely dissipated. Pure rose, raspberry and strawberry on the nose. This was delicious and my eyes are opened to a new wine region!
