Domaine Jean Foillard is 1 of the “Gang of 4” who started the efforts to create high quality Beaujolais, adopting minimalist approaches to farming. Their Cote du Py is delicious. I’m new to the Fleurie, but it’s supposed to be fairly rare given the tiny vineyard and super small annual production.

This delivery is also exciting because I’ve been low key making bite-sized attempts at teaching Shawn tiny tiny bits about wine-making and wine-tasting. I’ve also been quietly observing his response at dinners to build a sense of his palate. And now… WE ARE SPLITTING not one, but TWO cases of wines. Hehehe.
