2021 isn’t the greatest vintage in Bordeaux, especially coming off the remarkable 2018-2020 stretch. That said, the left bank did well, and Leoville Barton was an outperformer of the year – WA 94+, JS95. This was also Anthony Barton’s last vintage before he passed away.
Cabernet Sauvignon (84%), Merlot (11%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). 60% new oak.

The 2 “little Leovilles” (Poyferre and Barton) represents a great way to access strong performing GCC 2nd growth and exceptional terroir, without the giant price tag of the Leoville Las Cases.
