At Don and Tiff’s gender reveal lunch.

Yummy. This is consistently a crowd pleaser and enjoyable little thing.

In the glass: bright pale gold.

On the nose: waft of delicate vanilla beans.

On the palate: silky body, low acidity, yet fresh on the palate.

At exhale: all the typical malo notes, smelling of buttery popcorn, more vanilla beans, and now minerality. This is one of those whites that are very unimpressive at the inhale, but much much more pleasurable on the exhale. Teeeeny tiny bit of oak.

I originally rated this a strong 4.2, but docked it down to a 4.0 because $150 is too much for this wine. But still, it’s good enough that I could reluctantly buy it on the odd occasion. Would be a good buy at maybe 110-125.
