Bottle from Shawn

YUUUUM. This was delicious. Shawn and I had split a case of this ages ago, and I’d never got around to trying this. The Domaine’s Morgon is delicious, and they’ve just been making super enjoyable Cru Beaujolais.

In the glass: bright ruby, with a slight pink hue.

On the nose: rich red cherries, raspberries, and this most pleasant funk – it’s not overwhelming, but stayed just pleasurably persistent throughout the evening. Touch of minerality. As the wine breathed, the fruits intensified but remains fairly delicate.

On the palate: just such a good starting red. It’s fresh, light, low tannins, crispy bright acidity.

Super happy with the bottle!
