Belated birthday dinner at @bacchic.co with the wine hoes. (If you guys don’t know, they have a little private dining room at the back!)
I’m still on the search for other white burgs that blows my mind. This wasn’t it, but it was still plenty enjoyable.

In the glass: a bright yellow gold. Clear.
On the nose: thankfully, this was just a mild reductive + buttery malo. Tinge of sweet oak. Very high minerality on the exhale. As the wine warmed up a touch and had time to sit in my glass (for almost an hour), the notes certainly intensified, but remained in good balance. Started having some sorta yellow fruit and white flowers. Pretty.
On the palate: YUM. Looooong finish. Quite energetic with Midish acidity. Palate coating with a slightly oily finish that was super pleasant.
I… really liked this?? I like balance ya know. Not like big reduction and malo bombs.
