Never got into Figeac, so here’s the first. The 2009 is this truly odd blend of 35% cab sauv, 35% cab franc, and 30% Merlot. How interesting. These are still babies, but I plan to taste one some time this year, just to get a sense of the wine.

Have yet to be impressed by a 2009 or 2010 (aside from the 2010 Leoville las Case, and shockingly, the 2010 Giscours). Fingers crossed!

Side note: I love that Figeac plastic-wraps their seal!
