Date night with Hart at Sage.

YUM. This was surprisingly good.

In the glass: bright ruby. Mid- / light body. Clear.

On the nose: mix of red currant, cranberry and cherries. Sweet. A SURPRISING intensity of fruit. Mild spices. Distinct sweet oak. A dull barnyard funk that lingered in the glass. High minerality.

On the palate: the same intensity of fruit. Palate coating. High acidity. Bright. A surprisingly long finish, with some spice at the end. Touch of tannins

I hadn’t intentionally decided to drink both the Blanc and rouge tonight, but I have to say I’m impressed by the winemaker, especially for the price!
