Wine was the generosity of Bradian and Tiara, for dinner at their place.

In the glass: a lighter, but still bright rich gold. Clear.
On the nose: fresh off the bottle, this was straight toasted brioche and nuts. I was actually surprised at how much this spelled of a bricohe fresh outta the toaster! Touch of reduction. Very classic mild malo butter. Mild Citrus. As the wine breathed, the flinty reductive nose intensified just a touch, and the citrus and yellow fruit crept forward. An aromatic wine, with excellent balance. A ripe bottling.
On the palate: oh, how very decadent. A certainly oily richness that coats the palate. Mid- / low acidity. Long finish.
I was tempted to rate this MUCH higher. However, as a matter of personal preference, this could’ve benefited from a huge dollop of acidity. Everything on the nose and palate was so decadent, yet so well balanced. A higher acidity could’ve catapulted this to a much higher level and a more complete wine. Nonetheless, just a delicious delicious wine.
