Wine from T.
Oh, I was soooo wrong about this being too young to be good. This was delicious.

In the glass: high extraction. Deep inky maroon with distinct purple tones.
On the nose: so many things. This wine is young, and needs a lot of air. About 2 hours in the decanter. Fresh into the glass: blueberries. Sweet cassis. A waft of milk chocolate + cream + coconut that threw me off a little (but dissipated with time in the glass). With air: touch of cloves, distinct graphite, and this super ethereal floral note – violets? Idk. But it was VERY very pretty. As expected, this is a baby of a wine and was thus still extremely primary.
On the palate: mid acidity. Dry. A supremely well integrated and gentle tannin that still maintains good structure. Intensity of fruit. Long finish. Mid body.
What a stunningly beautiful wine, despite being an absolute baby. If this wine maintains that crazy pretty ethereal flower on the nose with age, this might just become a stupidly outstanding wine.
