With Hart, Jess, Eric, Bradian and Tiara

I finally bust this little guy out and oh my.

In the glass: this beeeeaaautiful bright red-orange, almost like the inside of the grapefruit. Clear, bright and vibrant.

On the nose: slight funk that faded with air but remained fairly persistent. This amorphous mix of candied strawberry, cherries, orange. Very intensely aromatic, which took me by surprise.

On the palate: ooof. This wine is misleading. There’s a fair bit of alcohol. It’s well structured. And it has this immense palate coating body, with high intensity of fruits. Fresh, juicy with Midish acidity, and a slight savory tone.

This was just delicious. A bit of an oddball for me.
