With Hart, MelG, Brandon, QH, GY, BSG, Maisy, Charm and Jeff at @twelveflavours 2 bottles from BSG.

Deep, intense, complex, but felt like we drank it too warm? Idk.

In the glass: a deceptively light bodied gold.

On the nose: a ton of things going on. Intensely aromatic. Deep bruised yellow fruits / apples. High minerality. A very tight and distinct layer of flinty reductiveness. (I mean tight in a good way – precise, distinct, but in very good balance) Malo + an almost sweet cotton candy tinge that emerged with air.

On the palate: oh, my. This was SO silky and rich it almost came across as being oily on the palate. Mid+ intensity on the palate reinforcing the nose.

That said, I can’t help but wonder if this would’ve shown better if served considerably colder, given all that richness and intensity.
