I don’t rly know anything about this winemaker, but I…. Quite enjoyed this, which still surprises me given how heavily oaked this is.

In the glass: pale gold. Clear.

On the nose: lemon, sweet oak, vanilla. A lot of malo. It’s simple, very well oaked, unspectacular, but I kinda really enjoyed drinking it?

On the palate: silky oiliness, mid+ bodied. Mid acidity. Mid finish.

Dangerously poundable. I liked it best when it’s chilled; the oak gets a bit too much as it warmed up in the glass.
