Went a little silly spree after the delicious vertical at A’s home. After first tasting the remarkable 2005 and discovering the magic of @sanleonardo_ wines, I had been on a bit of a rampage buying cases of every vintage I couple find on Cru Wine. If you like Bordeaux blend, San Leonardo makes some of the most beautiful ones in the world.

The 2014s and 2017 were elusive, but managed to get my grubby hands on these through A. And in an unexpected batch of single-boxed bottlings too! The 2003 was, well. The wine of the night. I couldn’t resist. The 2018 arrives next year – this is my second case. I couldn’t resist it. The 2018 is a monstrously good wine.
