With Hart at the Crystal Wine tasting.

GAH DAMN. This was a damn good wine. What a stunner.

In the glass: bright deeply colored ruby.

On the nose: WHAT A NOSE. Deep, rich blackcurrant, blueberries, savory, earthy, cedar. Sweet. So intensely aromatic. Still very primary.

On the palate: high intensity of fruits, palate coating, with a loooong finish. Compared to the 2003, this has a distinct freshness and mid++ acidity. Very structured, but the tannins are sooo fine.

Man this was so damn good. Wine of the tasting.
