The Great Beaujolais Tasting was an idea YZ and I toyed with months ago. Cru Beaujolais are delicious fun wines, with some that edge across the line into fine wines. Today was that day.

In the glass: ruby, with a tinge of pink. Light bodied. Clear.

On the nose: sweet, red fruited and that distinct carbonic maceration note. Simple and clean.

On the palate: bright, juicy, with a touch of residual sugar. Fresh on palate. Just clean. Very decent.
