With Hart and the Wine Hoes at Twelve Flavors round 2

What a tasty little bugger. This isn’t exactly the most impressive and exceptional Vouvray / Chenin Blanc out there, but it’s so clean and delicious.

In the glass: light gold. Clear.

On the nose: lotsa red apples fresh off the bottle. Touch reductive/flinty, but blows off. Tiny touch of citrus and honey.

On the palate: just a flash of residual sugar. Mid+ acidity, and a surprisingly long finish. Body was mid/mid- . A pretty minerality on the exhale.

Simple, clean, and pretty. Went well with the starters of Pani Puri, a roasty corn snack, and fried frog legs.
