Bottle from James.

What a delightful little bugger, and not what I’ve come to expect of (awful) Cali chardonnays! Clean, and well balanced.

On the nose: very clean and linear minerality, although maybe a little shy initially. Similar to a warm-vintage Chablis.
This was very different on the exhale though – touch reduction, and just this touch of sweet malo vanilla crème in a completely inoffensive way.

On the palate: dry, touch silky, and mid++ intensity of fruits. Bright, juicy, elegant, and a very surprisingly long finish.

Super well balanced, and just tasty as hell.
