With Hart at Crystal Wine’s tasting.

This is a bit of a tricky one.

If you care a ton about terroir and the winemaker’s mark on the wine, this is fascinating. It is an extremely distinctive one – it has a savory herbaceousness that I’ve never encountered in any Napa cab in my life. This savory herbaceousness extends from the aromatics to the palate. Super aromatic. As to be expected, this is ripe, well oaked, and had immense concentration and intensity.

But…… this isn’t really my cup of tea. Perhaps a little too unique and too intellectual. I couldn’t bear to mark it down, but I think it just doesn’t suit my palate.
