Bottle from Sean.
A backup bottle to the rescue, after the crushingly disappointing Tertre

In the glass: a rich ruby, with just a touch of garnet on the rim.
On the nose: one of the darker fruited Brane cantenac in a while! Still plush with red berries. Ripe, not quite as floral as usual. Touch of Christmas spicy. Faint oak in the background. A surprising savory tone to the nose.
On the palate: pretty concentration of fruit, with a bright juicy acidity. Surprisingly well structured and still a bit plush. Mid bodied.
