With Hart, Shaun, Maeg, YZ, Sloke, James and ZY at Sloke’s
Bottle from me.

OH? I was surprised by how pretty this turned out.

In the glass: this bright ruby with a big splash of orange esp towards the rim.

On the nose: oh! Very sweet strawberry, cherries, and a touch of licorice at the end. It took a while to really open up, but when it did was very pretty and aromatic. Mid+ intensity. Elevated alcohol that was a little offensive on the exhale.

On the palate: high intensity of red fruits, and high acidity. Noticeable tannins that releases quickly. Like the nose, time in the glass really helped to intensify the body.

I didn’t have particularly high hopes for this, but it was a good performer. The alcohol does bug me a little.
