Bottle from me.
I might be biased here, but the Lillian was on fire last night. Stuuuunning. I’ve drank the Lillian 2013 4-6 times over the last 2 years, and it just keeps getting better. The most important thing: give it an enormous amount of air before drinking.
Decanted into a narrow decanter 40 mins. Back into the bottle. Spent the next 2 hours in the bottle. Then another hour in the decanter. Served slightly chilled. Glorious.

In the glass: deep, dark, inky and purple toned.
On the nose: super pure sweet blackcurrant, red cherries. This wine needs A LOT of air for it to shed its flabby sweet oaky vanilla, but when it does: lean aromatic oak in harmony with the concentrated fruits, and this emergence of a earthy aromatic herbal tone. This is intense, sweet, and super clean. Just extremely aromatic.
On the palate: as expected, immense concentration and intensity, yet maintaining great freshness on the palate. Serving this chilled makes ALL the difference in keeping the wine lively, and keeping the alcohol in check. Splash of residual sugar. Long persistent finish.
This is the best showing for the Lillian so far. Can’t wait to see how my remaining bottles turn out in the next few years.
