With Hart at the wonderful Dier Makr

A most curious blend of Chardonnay and Riesling; a first for me.

In the glass: light gold.

On the nose: ripe yellow fruits, with that distinct Riesling citrus and minerality. Mid- intensity.

On the palate: a splash of bright acidity, a tough of silkiness, and dry. Mid to mid- length finish.

Enjoyable, but unimpressive by itself. Becomes very expressive when paired with the white asparagus and crab.
