With Hart at Dier Makr

My first ever Grillo, and I’ve never tasted a grape like this before!

In the glass: this bright yellow, maybe a touch cloudy.

On the nose: craaazy nose. Intensely aromatic, that smells salty, herbal and extremely floral, maybe like dried citrus peel?

On the palate: mid bodied, with a ripe yellow fruit concentration. This immediately distinct salinity that’s so savory. Mid acidity, fresh.

A most incredible pairing with this curry oat-risotto with squid. Delicious.
