With YZ at the Patrimonio tasting.

A surprising wine of the evening for me, with years to go to reach its prime.

On the nose: what an aromatic little bugger, with the bouquet in full bloom. Sweet rich red plums, black currents, with a flash of rich malo chocolatiness. Sweet aromatic oak. Super clean, and pure.

On the palate: bone dry, and a surprisingly high intensity and concentration of red fruits. Super juicy, not plush. Very well integrated alcohol despite the high 14.5%

Has the acidity and concentration of fruits to really age and develop some complexity.
