With Hart and the ROM + birthday celebration people 🙂

I know nothing about the vintage, but this was certainly a warmer and riper style of Chablis.

On the nose: pear, lemon, tiniest tinge of honey and minerality. Distinct notes from malolactic fermentation. On the palette: suuuuuuper fresh and bright acidity, coupled with mid alcohol made this a super juicy wine. Body is just mildly thicker than what I prefer in a crispy Chablis. On the exhale, distinct MLF nose with a sure ripeness.

In general, I prefer the crispy light chablis from colder vintages / less ripeness, instead of the riper varieties reminiscent of the new world chards. That said, this was very very enjoyable, and very affordable too!
