On the nose, an initial whiff of black currant which surprised me. Bottle was served far too cold, and the nose was close. Finish was short and sharp. Tannins palatable.
When it warmed up and had enough air, it was a distinct cranberry and some sort of sweet darker red fruits. The finish was medium and mid alcohol. High acidity. Strawberry on exhale. Not sure why anyone is complaining about the tannins – it’s young, lively, and very palatable. Generally enjoyable, although I would be pressed to pay more than $70 for this.
